We are delighted that Ehlers-Danlos Support UK and Annabelle's Challenge are once again jointly hosting a Vascular EDS Conference in the UK with the EDS National Diagnostic Service.

The conference takes place on the weekend of 10th May 2025 at the Village Hotel in Bury, Manchester UK.

The programme will include a mixture of medical presentations from the EDS National Diagnostic Service and an opportunity for patients and families touched by the condition to meet others, share experience and form lasting friendships.

Village Hotel Manchester

Located just off the M66 motorway, Village Hotel Manchester Bury is linked to Manchester city centre via the Metrolink system. The Trafford Centre, Chill Factor, and Bury Market are nearby. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art leisure facilities, and a choice of dining experiences.

The modern and stylish rooms feature a flat-screen TV, ironing supplies and the private bathrooms all include a hairdryer. The hotel offers Sky TV and the Sky Sports channel in all bedrooms.

Village Hotel Manchester Bury has a modern health club with a 25-metre pool, gym, and aerobics studio. There is also a Business Club featuring meeting spaces, hot desking, tasty refreshments and state of the art technology.

Guests can choose to dine at the stylish all day dining Village Pub and Grill. The on-site Starbucks offers a selection of coffees, light bites, and cakes.

The Village Hotel will have a limited number of rooms available for the conference weekend and details will be announced soon.

Alternatively, a choice of nearby hotels are located within a short 10 minute cab / Uber ride from the Village Hotel: Premier Inn, Bury and Travelodge, Bury.

Kids & Teens Club

Families will be most welcome at the conference and activities will be provided by Theatre Dance Studios.

We will be providing a variety of sessions including dance, drama, singing, performing arts and arts and crafts. We hope this will allow parents to fully participate in the conference.

Please note we can not accept children under the age of 4 into the Kids and Teens club.

Airport Transfers

All International conference delegates arriving at Manchester Airport will be greeted on arrival and transferred by Nolan Airport Services direct to the Village Hotel.

This option is available for £90 return for up to 4 passengers.

Your journey from Manchester airport to the conference venue will take approximately 40 minutes.

If you would like to visit London or Europe the nearest train station is Manchester Piccadilly with frequent trains operated by Avanti West Coast.

The approximate journey time is just over 2 hours from Manchester to central London & St Pancras International. You can also book tickets via trainline.
