Our volunteer fundraisers are vital to our charity. Not only do they raise vital funds for Annabelle’s Challenge they also raise awareness of who we are and what we do for the vascular EDS community, helping us to reach more people who need us. 

Your support means everything to us!

Quiz or Race Night
Why not get family and friends together for a really fun night? Various companies can be found online to give you all the resources you’ll need. Why not include a raffle to raise even more funds! 

Host a Gala Dinner/Ball 
This is always a great way of raising both money and awareness. Ask your community to get glamorous and have a night to remember. By including a raffle and/or auction you could raise more funds too! We have hosted numerous charity balls and can help you plan your event for Annabelle's Challenge.

Charity golf or shooting day
These types of events are hugely popular. It helps if you or someone you know is involved in the sport but even a novice can make them a success. When a sit-down meal is included in the evening they can raise in excess of £1,000!

Pub Quiz
Get your local pub involved with raising funds! By hosting a pub quiz you can charge teams to enter and offer a prize for the winning team – you could hold a raffle too.

School non-uniform day 
Such a popular way of raising money. Get your local school involved and you can easily raise £150+. Why not ask them to join in our annual awareness campaign #REDS4VEDS Day held on the third Friday of May.

Dress down day
This is one of the easiest ways to fundraise in your workplace or working from home! Simply ask everyone (or yourself) to make a donation to come into work in their favourite comfy clothes. You could make it colour themed or fancy dress or even support our REDS4VEDS Day!

Bake sale
Your chance to show off your baking talents! Ask colleagues to bring in cakes, treats or savouries in exchange for donations. Why not tie this in with hosting a coffee morning?
Wing Walking
Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of a wing walking ride and help raise funds for Annabelle's Challenge. With the wind in your hair anything's possible! 

Fancy getting strapped in to the top of a plane and whizzing through the sky as you take in the landscape below? If so then wing walking is the ultimate adrenaline challenge guaranteed to provide the wow factor. A minimum sponsorship is required, which is usually £1,500 and your wing walking is free subject to a £100 non-refundable deposit.

Skydive
Jumping out of a plane is one of the most thrilling experiences people can do for charity and a number of organisations and locations across the UK are available. 

A minimum sponsorship of £500 per person is required and your parachute jump is free. Click here for more information and locations.

Don’t forget jumps are a great experience to try with friends and family members  – so don’t forget to get them involved.
Abseil
Why not consider abseiling for Annabelle's Challenge? We have hosted the world famous Peel Tower monument for abseiling however you can also search for venues local to you who allow abseiling.

Zumba
Organise a Zumba night at your local gym or community centre.

Wine Tasting Evening
Always a success! Approach your local wine merchant and ask them to help you plan your virtual wine tasting event. Why not also consider a Gin and Prosecco evening? Please drink responsibly!!
